I’ve enjoyed reading through TwoAgesPilgrims’ series on the way popular evangelism (or mainstream evangelicalism) tends to misuse certain passages of Scripture.   Although on the third one, Jeremiah 29:11, I might be inclined to take a slightly looser interpretation (in that yes, the original context must be paramount, but the verse is also a powerful statement of encouragement to believers if not used to mean that in this life there will certainly be material blessing).

Anyway, here you go!

Joshua 24:15 (Choose this day whom you will serve…)

John 3:16 (For God so loved the world…)

Jeremiah 29:11 (For I know the plans I have for you…)

Revelation 3:20 (I stand at the door and knock…)
